We can photograph somewhere meaningful to your family, at home or outdoors. I am also happy to recommend a location. Classic and Signature sessions include locations within a 30-minute drive of Downtown Boston; Deluxe includes locations within a one-hour drive. Locations beyond your package’s included travel range may incur an additional travel fee, which we will agree on before booking.

For outdoor sessions, lighting is usually best in the early morning hours right after sunrise or 1-2 hours before the sunset if you want warm glowing “golden light” look. I’m inspired by the light and comfortable to work with any light at any time of the day.

Wardrobe should be comfortable and reflect who you are. Colors are better coordinating and complementing with each other than matching matchy; play with textures and materials and add layers and accessories. I love to help with styling, and encourage you to send me pictures of your outfits so I can help to look at colors. I also offer my clients free access to a personalized styling site that’s easy to use to find and select pieces.
